Terms of Service

Welcome to Wufr. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wufr mobile application ("App") operated by Wufr ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
- You agree to provide accurate information in your profile and dog profiles.
- You may not create accounts for other people without their permission.
- You may not use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Post content that is obscene, violent, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Upload photos that you do not have the right to share.
- Spam other users with unsolicited messages or promotions.
- Use the App to arrange activities that could endanger dogs or people.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
- Use automated tools to scrape data or create accounts.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, reviews, messages). By posting content, you grant Wufr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App and for promotional purposes. You can delete your content at any time, which revokes this license (except for content that has been shared by other users).
5. Content Moderation
Users can flag content they believe violates these Terms. Flagged content may be temporarily hidden pending review. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
6. Dog Safety
Wufr facilitates connections between dog owners but does not supervise meetups or guarantee the behavior of any dog. You are solely responsible for your dog's behavior and safety during any interaction arranged through the App. We strongly recommend:
- Meeting in public, well-lit areas (such as dog parks).
- Ensuring your dog's vaccinations are up to date.
- Supervising all interactions between dogs.
- Respecting other owners' boundaries and comfort levels.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Wufr and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
9. Availability and Changes
We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide notice of material changes when possible.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the App's settings. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, dog profiles, photos, messages, and other personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized data (such as aggregate park statistics) may be retained.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wufr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages related to dog interactions, personal injury, or property damage.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wufr and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
